I'm not from Bonnie Scotland but I grew up in Dunedin NZ and as we were called 'the Edinburgh of the south' we used to celebrate Burns Night too. The piping of the haggis and such. It was held at Larnach Castle on the Otago Peninsula. There is a statue of Robbie Burns in the Octagon, the centre of the city. |
