Guess im not familliar with this particular scam? can someone fill me in?
at first glance, i thought it was just a regular scam, that turned into a romance...but after reading some of the forum it seems that its an entirely different type of scam on its own?
any help would be appreciated. thanks |

In a nutshell, it is where someone who wants money AND claims to be in love with you 
Read up on the forum posted, plenty of good examples of the ins/outs.
They use pre-written scripts like lads, stolen pics and or pics of their significant others to lure unsuspecting men to send them cash for a ticket to "visit" and or "marry" them. |

And not just money for visas and airfare. There's also the translation agency scam, popular with Ukraine scammers and money for a sick relative/internet access/claiming the hotel manager's confiscated their passport becasue of unpaid rent and so on. And let's not get into green card scammers.... |

Also ..... Love scams can go on for weeks, months or even longer .... the first amount scammed tend to be rather small and then get bigger and bigger with each extraction until the victim is bled try (and then some !)
