We've all seen the lists of the things Lads tell us that portray a world quite different from reality, such as:

The West African cocoa industry is so full of treachery it makes Colombian Cocaine Cartels look like Boy Scouts.

The United States used to rule Nigeria.

In Burkina Faso, governors of banks have the power to summarily imprison members of staff.

It struck me that baiters can portray a world that's equally out of synch.

Here's one example.

"Western Union and Moneygram staff all over the English-speaking world - and especially those at Heathrow Airport - are second to none for corruption and greed."

Western Union buildings in the US are a place where, beatings, robberies, and sexual assaults are common.

Also, Western Union employees frequently simply pocket the cash you plan to send oversees for themselves and then taunt the recipient over the phone demanding a cut.

Banks all over the world require lots of information to effect a transfer, including the ID of the recipient, full addresses and phone number. And none of them issue a transfer slip.

-Some cities or even countries do not have any WU or MG offices at all.

-It happens very often that people get hacked

-The roads to the bank / WU / MG offices are very dangerous and many accidents happen.

Private jets are the preferred mode of transportation (almost as common as commercial airlines), exclusive hotels shun the use of telephones, and WU makes it extremely difficult to send money.
