Geez, will you look at that? This guy came here, enrolled to the mentoring program and I, having just come back after a bit of an absence, was already happy little duck getting ready to scare another FNG away. And yet here he still is. As I'm not into mentee sandtimers, ran out of mean things to say plus I fear he might have found my secret stash of adult refreshments, I guess I have no choice anymore.
Stop wasting my mentee slots, mentee AlDente.

Note to anyone who's still sober enough not to have passed out yet: my friend and colleague Ser Davos has greatly helped me to co-pilot this shipwreck and his kind words and actual help provided are probably the only reason for why Al hasn't ran away yet. He has also kindly promised to deal with any complaints from crew members who had their garden's roses accidentally eaten by a hapless mentee that may or may not have been assigned to me.

Thank you Duckling. I was told early on that you're a mean old drunk duck, full of foul language and quack quack insults at FNG's, but i didn't see any of that. You were extra nice and didn't insult me once. I feel left out! 
Seriously, thank you Duckling for showing me the ropes and putting up with me. Ser Davos, you have helped me tremendously, and BBB...BBB, you are a site killer extraordinaire and have taught me so much.
