Well folks, as awesome as fantasy football was last season was, this season is going to be a whole lot better! The rules have changed and the draft will be later so all that's left is a few housekeeping items:
1) I'd like to hear from all of last season's owners for them to confirm they are playing this season. This is last season's owners:
Abidjan Red Seals - Harold
Lagos Loan Rangers - B Ware
Skeleton Coast Shivers - modokmind
Kumasi Sakawas - Lester
Dakar Darlings - ???
Ouagadougou Mofos - Mofo
Johannesburg Ssds - Ser Davos
Cotonou Mugus - JASON JOHNSON
Douala Dolla Chops - Bait-a Ray Bill
Lagos Lottery Lads - Jayhawk
2) As you notice the the Dakar Darlings have no owner. Their owner will be unable to play this season. As such we need another owner so if there are any new members that are interested, please pm me and we will welcome you to the league. Also I am more than willing to have an expansion team if there is more than one person interested in playing.
3) Draft Date. Never too early to set a date. Weekend and evening would work best for me.
4) Keepers: This is a keeper league and you are allowed 2 keepers. Be sure to select your keepers before the draft.
5) Draft Order: Draft order will be randomized to prevent what happened last season.
All I know is Harold is going to try to 2 peat this season and I for one want to stop that from happening. Whose with me?
***Edited to Add*** If anyone is baiting a lad that will make carvings I would love to have a carving made that we could use as a physical trophy. Please contact me if you are dealing with such a lad and we can work out the details. |

I'm honestly trying to decide...
I had a lot of fun last year, but I also put a lot more time into FF than I should have. While I'm certainly looking forward to defending my title, I would hate to agree to join something and then not give it my all. Can I think about it for a while and let you know?
Also, I'm pretty sure we lost Bait-A-Ray Bill from the site, so the Douala team may also be looking for a new owner. |

It was fun and I enjoyed it but my schedule is already looking like I can't give it the attention it would require!
