My pc is going to go, I have a laptop using windows 8 and the new pc will also be using 8, however, my old pc, I had outlook express but I hear one cannot use that on this os, ?

There's a mail app on Windows 8, that should replace it. Support for Outlook Express ended in 2013 with XP.

If I may but in I had a new computer at Christmas from the wife and my son loaded windows 10.

Had to reload all my old favourites and pictures and documents, in fact I got a friend in to do it for me.

If you don't have windows 10 yet its still free up to July this year.

Computers running windows 7, which I had loaded, had a small window appear at bottom of the right hand screen, clicking on this link loaded everything into windows 10 without the problems of having to reload.

Need a Microsoft password which you need to log in, every time.
Mind you its fast, shutting down is quicker.

Give you 1 month of the complete Microsoft Office, then you need to buy the program again, which is only rented for one year then pay time again, now called Microsoft Office 365.

^ If this would help save you some money. If you do have an older version of office. I know office 2003 will work with Windows 8 and Windows 10. Cant speak about anything older than that. To get office 2003 to open newer file formats. All you need is this

When I loaded office on windows 8 and 10. I have had some computer accept it right away. There were some that like to put a fight. If they do put a fight all you have to do is right click the icon. go to properties and go under compability then chance it to open in windows 7.

I hope that this would help you save some money.
