I have registered for Internet dating after a bit of a gap and reading reviews it appears that all the main companies are now into,

Leaving inactive profiles up and using them to make supposed contacts.

Putting profiles on other sites without notification/permission.

The usual problem with scammers.

Taking continuous credit card payments and making it difficult to cancel and obtain refunds.

Sending out fake notifications of interest.

Lack of customer care and admin.

Any thoughts? Watching the Apprentice final, I thought the fellow with his plumbing business only had to turn up to win.

I have not found one of the main sites that does not appear to have reports of these issues. The sites at the top end of the market do not appear to be affected. However not many people can afford their fees and I suspect they do not operate that much outside of Inner London.
