Greatful if sanyone, knows anything about any case there. I want to find a link with my case, which police have become aware of!

As Pastor Frank mentioned, there are so many different scams potentially linked with San Jose that we can't give you any specific advice.

Very general: if you have been victimised (whether or not you have an official case file with the police) you may be able to get more assistance at our sister site scamwarners.com which specialises in victim support.

If you have been scammed then I suggest that you visit our sister site www.scamwarners.com

They have the training to counsel people properly. Also if you post the details you will prevent someone else from going through the same thing.

this is complicated, i live in Eu-country and the banktransactions took Place in London U.K, and even my mistake too change 2 names on the paymentlist , they rebuked at , They got problem on specific London bank, next time they changed bank, When afriend tracked there ip-adresses , it ended too san Jose and the same Place there where other by map at 419 has pointed out fraud crimes. This people are not americans , mixed up with soth-west slavic people. My hope is that vbrittis and police of san jose can cooperate. The site were this man took Contact wrote too me that a lot of faked avccoounts were found, and all of them are in ablack list if police want hem out! This is bigger than my small money lost for sure!
today i send a samll story too police in San Jose about it. The ony i can do is wait ,and wait , and hope that this persons are cught. Much worse for a person i was talking with. he had ost 8 times more Money, and they tracked tha criminals too Nigeria and Dubai. Nothing has happend during 8 months. they gave up, maybe there is hope in this case! Best regards Jan in sweden

I will go there on this site and try, because i Think this is just a top of an icemountain, as we says here in Scandinavia. I try also there!
This case ended up in San Jose, better hope than all 100 cases that end up in Nigeria? Or Dubai. They have absolut no future to solve them.

Were they using a gmail or yahoo email address? Both of those companies are based near San Jose California and emails from those email providers often show up as San Jose or Mountainview, CA.

Exaktly that location you wrote here! Mountainview! and also typical gmail and Yahoo-adresses for e-mail!

The scammer is not in San Jose - as Padme said, all Gmail addresses show the originating IP address as Mountain View. Without access to Google's server logs it is impossible to tell where the email was actually sent from.

As FH5 said you might be better off support wise at scamwarners.com. It sounds like you have taken some good steps though by reporting this to law enforcement!
