I have baited several types of lads, but not romance lads. So i like to try that too but on which dating website should i put my baiting caracter's profile to attract lads?

I joined this forum because I get Skype requests from lads constantly.
I have no idea where they get the info from to be honest, but I'm happy to give you a few user IDs.

Do you have, or want to make a fake Facebook profile.

We have them coming out our eyeballs there! So many. Many of us are 'friends' and comment on each others pages and we look like real people. (slightly strange real people I have to say ! ). So as friends lads often contact several of us.. self-mass baiting !

I didn't get along with dating websites. Gina just seemed to get old pervy truckers etc....but some others one here have had excellent results. So many lads, so few of us !

Fishmeetfish used to be the best-Tons of lads and very few real people. Or you can ask usually the romance baiters have spare lads to hand out. I hate chat so I avoid FB.

Fish meet fish seems to have gone downhill (or improved, depending on your point of view Smile

) - it looks like they are not automatically approving profiles anymore as most lads that approach my female characters have no picture showing and only the age, religion, location, etc part of the profile.

This means that they can't approach the majority of members as the default setting is only to allow messages from profiles with a picture.

I tried FishMeets Fish and couldn't get my profile picture approved for some reason. Like Facebook, no one to appeal to if you aren't happy.

Tagged I just got every rag, tag and bobtai?. If you aren't a lad and a US soldier or engineer, it seems in real life dating you have to be a trucker !

Then I found I like the chat bit because you can do away with copy and paste and talk endless drivel for ages... and do other things at the same time ! It's not for everyone but I think we all have preferred methods. Some of our FB ones we get onto email as well.

But... there are so many out there right now it's so sad. So many women are getting conned because they believe them... I warned a woman on FB as she was getting very 'lovey' on her replies to a lad... and she called me a scammer and said she wasn't born yesterday. You can't save them all !

I'm still newish and still shocked and amused in equal measure at what I find !

Thanks for the tips. I put up some profiles as bait, now waiting for them to bite. Going through the profiles on fishmeetfish it's easy to spot the (v)lads, there are indeed lots of them! My female character has not decided yet wether she wants a soldier or an engineer. Maybe both. Smile

OK, now I am wondering if I went overboard with my meth addict profile - the pervs leave my character alone, possibly proving once more that lads are the lowest of the low! Laughing

I also am interested as to how 'lads' find people on Skype. I have had so many contact requests since the first day I opened my RL Skype account, it isn't true.

Usually, I just ignore them. It happens to me on FB, as well, but not nearly so much. My privacy settings are strong there, and the lads have to try to get in by the backdoor, usually by befriending a 'friend of a friend', who is sometimes a male.

However, I did investigate one Skype request, only to find a 'magnificent' US Army Brigadier in full uniform, claiming be be from Berlin in Kansas. Lololol

He gave me some rather garbled Google translated text in German, to verify his Germanic roots. Hoots of laughter.

However, of course I wouldn't have tried any kind of bait from my RL account. But, I was rather rude and showed the downside of my nature. Lol. Very Happy

Then I blocked him.

But, how do they get our Skype details? Any ideas, anyone?

Skype is now owned by Microsoft. I suspect they simply sell it. They certainly collect a lot of your info. From the website:

Hi xxx,
I'm writing to you because you are a moderator of this forum (correct?)

My name is xxxx, you can easily google me, first 2 hits are my linkedin and twitter accounts, in case you want to check me out.

The reason for my contact is that lately I've received quite a few Skype requests from different men, most of them military (or so the picture implies), claiming to be from the US (as per skype details) with the typical "hello my dear" and then some broken English. I have not engaged in more than a minute or two of conversation, since they are seeing my real information there.

I know that lm definitely not the type of person they pray on, firstly becasue I can smell it's fishy from the get go, and secondly because I live in Argentina, and the government has strict control on international transfers, purchases and even foreign exchange. So even if i fell for that, there is no way i can send money to a foreign country.

So, I did some reaserch and the IP addresses are all from Ghana. I block the contacts and report them as abuse, as Skype customer service advises, but l doubt that just my report would be of any use.
Then, I came across this site, and thought that, if a group of people collected that data, maybe added them and then report abuse, the larger number will perhaps make an impact; it might not be the same to get one person reporting it, than maybe getting 50, it might prompt some action by skype. Do you think that'll be of any use?
I understand that it might be a nuisance to add people and report them, but people here seem to be willing to spend a little time trying to "clean up the net".
Since this wont be actually baiting, it wont be fun, yet some people that is not into baiting for whatever reason might find a minute to help.

So, thats my idea. If you think its something worth trying, count me in to both report user names and do some "ground work".

Just found this fishandsee.com when I was reverse searching a photo.

A quick search of the profiles shows quite a few stolen porn star photos.
