Sorry if this is in the wrong place or has already been posted.
I was looking through DM today and came across this article. It's pretty much exactly what the title says - he's selling his plasma so he can send money to a woman he never met in Nigeria. To date he's sent more than $100,000. He's also involved in several other scams, and is currently on probation for cashing a fraudulent check. |

Oh, wow. Such a sad story. It just goes to show you that anyone can become a victim and even as much as they are told that it's a scam, they still want to believe they will get their money.
Stories like this make me so angry. |

Metamit, I definitely agree. I feel so bad for the family - it seems they're kind of at the end of their rope with this. Not to mention the victim - this is clearly unsustainable for him.

^^ me too! I have a hard time stomaching romance scammers but this one I would certainly do! |

I saw that episode. The guy suffers from a dillusional disorder. Dr. Phil recommended that he shut off his Computer and never turn it back on again. As many different scams as he was being used for I'll be surprised if they don't start using good old snail mial to scam him next. |
