A travel Agency or an airline has no reason and seldom even uses cash! If I'd have known this would have been a problem, I would have bought you an e-ticket-all you do is show up with ID. And my buddy says a passport number would help.

So you can be here Christmas day-once I get the iinfo, I'll transfer $1000.00 with instructions to deliver the amount at the flight door. Baby, ain't no way I'm ever going to use transfer services. They're not safe, not insured and they cost money. And there have been reports their employees sometimes demand a bribe to release the funds. No way am I going to let that happen to my baby!

I've been off for the holidys and got a couple rather anxious messages but only until the 24th:

I'm totally sorry I went radio silent on you! I wouldn't blame you if you didn't speak to me again, but it would be a real waste since I sent $1000 for you to not only pay off the travel agent but buy something pretty to wear. The reason you haven't heard from me is I've been in the hospital-I was in an auto accident on Christmas Eve, for God's sake. Some idiot who'd been doing shots at his office Christmas party, ran a red light and totaled out my Camero which is bad enough. But I also broke two bones in my left leg-I had to have surgery on Christmas day, which is the biggest bummer ever! I couldn't use my lap top at the hospital and I didn't get home until today. Now I'm stuck with a white plaster cast on my leg for 6 weeks.

I'm so sorry, baby. I am not going to be able to get around very well when you get here. But if you want to get creative, I bet we still could have a good time!
