Saskatoon is beautiful. Wasn't summer a Thursday last year?
The last day I lived in Vermont the chill factor was -32.
I've been moving west and south for 35 years and finally got here. And I like it!
(New York set a record high of 64 degrees yesterday. The lowest temperature I've seen in 15 years was 67.) |

Lived on the East Coast (though inland) for way too many years too panic over this. Keep an eye on it- certainly. Hit the panic button- not yet.Be prepared,but watch how it develops. The weather news services following their conventional news cousins love to forecast doom where there is none. |

Interesting that the planets aligned a couple of times.
The good: I was able to sneak on the earlier flight to VT and got there just ahead of the snow.
The ridiculous: it snowed the first two days I was there, 12-14" in some places, the temperature got as low as 8 degrees (F) and then as I was heading out it started to rain, all the snow melted and it's in the 40's during the day.
Winter = when I visit. May the skiers will pay me to go back. |
