Not one to miss the chance to <strike>make my cat look silly</strike> contribute to serious scientific research, I assembed the required aparatus (a (very rough) circle and a cat) and waited.
Here is the result of the experiment
She sat outside the circle for 5 minutes before going to investigate her food bowl and returning to bed.
Conclusion: Subject is either too stupid to realise she is meant to be in the circle or refuses to conform to species norms. |

I tried it with an HDMI cable. The one cat just started chewing on it. I then realized that the reason the HDMI cable was laying around in the first place was because she had already chewed on it when it was hooked up to the TV... |

No. She is plump and ripe for the taking. 
What can I say, more of a dog person and (stop reading now if you like cats) I have probably eaten a cat or two in my travels and not been told about it. I never complained (or knew about it). |
