Love my iPhone and iPad, just can't convince myself to spend $2k+ on a Mac. |

I have Windows 8.1 and have never had a problem with it. (I have used 8 since the developer preview) I just pin the application I use onto my taskbar so I don't have to deal with the Start Screen. If an application isn't pinned or rarely used, I just use search to pull it up. |

/\/\/\ I would probably be fine with Win8, I'm just a bit hesitant to try the "new and improved" version of something that works perfectly fine.
I also think my technological aptitude peaked about a year before Facebook opened to the public and Twitter launched. |

@Jose: If you already have a monitor you could get a Mac Mini for about six hundred bucks. Fifteen hundred or so could get you a decent iMac.
So far as towers, while the new one is definitely lovely, it's out my price range. Three thousand plus. |

I still have that one question about this whole ordeal though:
cheap + windows = laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggg + *freeze*. Cheap + linux = functional.

I agree with Joker buy a Mac they’re virus free and always will be |
Just noticed this, I never said that!
What I will say is this, I love my Mac computers to some extent but not a lot. I will admit though with the privacy bit they are putting into iOS 8 and various hardware driver patches applied via software update to all previous version of iOS and OSx Mac has gone off into some cool directions. This has by far been my favourite upgrade to all Mac systems:
