The reason I haven't contacted him is because I'm not sure that I understand what you're saying about the risk element for him. Are you saying that the only risk to his investment is the security risk to the oilfields, as in if ISIL get that far into Syria? Yes the only risk involved is the ISIL and that is very unlikely to happen. I have some US soldiers and other Brits too who i am organizing to take care of the security aspect while work is being done at the site. That means my expenses are you to increase so i am glad Mr. Brad is willing to invest a larger amount. Mr. Shulz and Tater have also shown interest. At the moment, Mr. Shulz is waiting for his laywer to study the agreement and Mr. Tater has to resend the document as the one he sent was corrupted and couldn't open.

He's being very fussy about getting the agreement signed, so I've sent it to him in a format he can actually open and also added to the payment page about the investment being paid to his bank account or in person at a mutually convenient location (my understanding of "mutually convenient" probably differs from his).

I've got a bank account on the way, so I'm going to have a failed transfer to that first and then suggest meeting face to face.

You're investing the most, so he's more likely to move for the amount you're offering, so you could insist on a face to face and then after my failed t/f I could come up with somewhere a few hundred km further away and "compromise" with him to meet where you agree on.

He's in Accra, so Cotonou or Abidjan would be possible choices for a nice journey or one of TM's hotel locations.

I need to get an up to date map of Africa!

The location is entirely up to you investors, but how are you going to suggest somewhere in Ghana when he's supposed to be in Damascus?

This is going to be such a learning curve for me, following a safari from start to finish and then picking up the pieces at the end.

He has sent me copies of all your correspondence for me to look at, so I just assure him that everything looks fine.

Since we know he's not really in Damascus, if JC says he wants to visit there to see the project location and hand over the cash, he's going to have a heart attack. So if JC mentions he can tie it in with his safari trip to West Africa in a few weeks time then with a bit of pushing from you, you can persuade him that JC will ignore Damascus and meet in Africa.

I will send Ms. T an email probably tomorrow outlining my desire to invest in Abuja. After that, maybe Ms. T could advise the rest of her investors to look at the proposal?

Many things can go wrong..but for now, it's coming together. We need this lad to have some time invested in us as investors, before we spring a definite meet on him.

Brad will have a perfectly reasonable excuse why he has to wait for another week before any action will take place on his end. That is one more week for us.

If you see any problems with this...just let me know TL.
