When I sat for the state bar exam, it was July, 90 degrees F and no air conditioning in the second floor exam rooms. This was not considered an excuse at any time because we were all warned about it.

I failed a sobriety test once. It was unanounced and I was drunk.

Highly unfair.

Note, the BBC article didn't include "I didn't pay attention for two years, and when it came to revision time I thought I could read up on Wikipedia then go back on Facebook and complain about how much work I had to do. Seems I was wrong"

The only university test I failed was the one I didn't attend. Apparently I had mixed the dates up. When I finally did it I aced it. I felt that was a pretty good excuse. I always liked this phrase. " I intended to go and I wanted to go, and then I decided not to. "

I wrote a Three Hour Russian Literature Final that was based on two Books I hadn't gotten around to reading. At the end of the 'Ordeal' the Student in front of me turned around and said "That was Easy eh?"

I did refrain from Beating him senseless as I felt broken at the time. For some strange reason my Mark actually improved....

That reminds me of episodes in various sitcoms where the character is in a book circle and hasn't read the book in question. It usually end up in some kind humiliation. But if you improved your mark you must be good at verbal diarrhea, in written form. Which doesn't make it very verbal at all. In Swedish we call both the written and the verbal form for "word shitting". I am its master.

In October 2012, I traveled to the state capital for the first of two surveying tests. The day before the exam, I had a gout attack and could not go back for my crutches. During the test, I had to go to the bathroom. I arrived a bit late and had to clean diarrhea from my pants in the sink. I went back to the exam room with wet pants. Despite all that, I finished early and did well.

I went back for the second test. Nothing untoward happened, and I passed it too.

I don't understand why people give tests on this but I remember it as BBROYGBVGW for gold and silver. No one will ever use it.
