I'm not a big fan of those types of Safety Nozzles on gas cans either. I remember my Dad stuffing a rag into the openings of steel gas cans that had lost their lids so it wouldn't slosh out. How the world has changed in my lifetime.

Our wheelie bin is in the yard, we store the recycle stuff there until Thurs and we take it from there to the recycle bin that the city supplies for us on the alley.

The rock around it came from a rock wall on this country road, we go there throw rocks up on the wall and sheets of slate rock come tumbling down. We used them for stepping stones walkways and around flower beds. Those around the bin is extra and don't know what we will do with them. They have been there for years and probably many more. Oh well, the wind can't blow our bin away. Laughing

I have two wheelie bins and two small wannabe wheelie bins, usually full. My trash guys love me. I couldn't do the blue beep beep pincher arms wheelie bins because you're only allowed to fill one per pickup and for some reason I always have way more trash then that. Bad human. So mine are picked up by guys that wheel them to the back of the truck. The truck that is usually blocking the road with the guys hanging off the back that I come within inches of clipping as they wave me by every time I try to drive around.

I don't have big item pick up days and can throw away anything anytime. The trash pickers are always out though. I put a rusted out grill by the road yesterday. It was gone in 15 minutes.

Re-cycling! My neighborhood has a lot of curbside shopping the night before trash day. My murdered wheelie bin has been replaced by a grey successor-but it's not the same...

My Wheelie Bin is a Ford F150 that carries our stuff about a mile to some boxes at the end of the road.

We have a Spring Clean up here in my town for large items. Still, if you want something metallic to disappear, just put it by the curb and it'll be gone in short order.

Since my kids take the trash to the road, I'm sure they'd like this set up! Laughing

The things that disappear from the end of my driveway amaze me. They aren't all metallic and recyclable. It can be anything. Junk. I'm starting to think that maybe there's a black hole out there.
