I'm finally feeling well enough to go to work today - at least for a half day. So I thought I'd get up extra early and get caught up with my emails.

Why would you feel embarrassed and ashamed to try to get a loan? There are so many people that do that - you do what you have to as the circumstances are. I had an email from my banker that the money came back - it was my fault - I cut off a couple of the numbers on the account when I cut and pasted it into a mail to him. I'm sorry and I've just sent him another mail with the correct information and asked him to transfer it again. I guess the medications that the doctor gave me scrambled my brains a bit. Luckily, I'm through taking them and I'm a bit more clear headed.

Please tell your Aunt Sharon that I apologize for the error and that the money should be there soon.

I'm sorry to hear about what Sam did. I hope that Mike recovers quickly. I'm not sure how or why Sam took your car but that's neither here nor there. But since he caused the accident, he should be paying the bill, especially since you just paid your employees in cash. As far as the hotel management taking your passport, I think you should go to the embassy and file a complaint. That's a government document and they have no right to take it from you and you shouldn't have given it to them. I'm sure they will help you at the embassy straighten all of this out and then you can come home finally!

My night was fine dear. I'm really surprised at the embassy's reaction since this is part of their job. I have a friend at the state department and I'll be sure to mention it to him the next time that I see him.

As far as the hospital not wanting to give you an account number, tell them that the money is not going to be transferred any other way. I will not have anyone else transfer the money by Western Union or any of those other filthy money laundering places. That would only subject them to the NSA, CIA, FBI getting their account information and I won't do that to anyone else. It sounds like to me that the hospital is trying to blackmail you and I don't like it one bit. If they were serious, they would give you an account. Please pass that to them.

I hope that you can get the info from them soon.

Sweetie, you may not see it as blackmail but it appears that way. They have taken your passport - which they have no right to do - and won't give it back until you give them money. That's blackmail. And the fact that they won't give you a bank account also makes it appear less than honorable.

You cannot guarantee that nothing will happen with sending money by western union. I will not use any of those filthy places so please forget it. I know that you want to leave there - and I want you to too - but it's not going to happen with any of those places.

I can't imagine why they would charge you with a crime if Mike had died since you weren't driving. Yes, it was your rented vehicle but you weren't driving it. Anyway, I am glad that Mike is improving, as I think I said before. I'm sure if you tell the hospital management that the only way that they'll get their money is by bank transfer, that they'll give you an account. Certainly both the doctor and the hospital have one.

I'm sorry dear but there's no way that I'm using any of those places. I've said that several times already. I'm sure if you talk to the hospital management and tell them that they'll get their money if they give you a bank account that they'll do it. After all they do want to be paid. I'm still feeling pretty bad and am still staying at home for now. I was supposed to go out with my family to celebrate Mother's Day today but I don't want to get around the grandkids and possibly give them this. So we'll wait until I'm feeling better.

Honey, like I've mentioned numerous times, I can't and won't use those instant money places. The articles that I'm reading about the trouble that it's causing people is enough to make me never use them. It sounds like they were meant to be really good ways of transferring money to someone but, unfortunately, scammers have ruined it for others. That's why the NSA, CIA, FBI and those other government agencies have stuck their noses in it. The only safe and insured way is through bank transfer. I'm sure sorry that those stupid scammers have ruined that for honest people like us...

Of course I'll be there at the airport to pick you up! I went to the doctor and got some antibiotic and he said that I should start feeling better soon. It's just a bad case of the flu, thank goodness. He said that it's going around and he's had a number of patients at the office with it. It's wonderful that your Aunt Sharon wants to help, like I do, but I'm not going to send the money by Western Union. I've given you the reasons before and I'm not going to risk my private or business information. I just found the mail where you mentioned the account. All you gave me was a name and account number. That's not enough information for me to make a transfer with. My weekend was fine, thanks. I went to the beach with my kids and grandkids and relaxed there. I'm glad that you aunt is feeling better and that you took care of her medical bills for her. I'm guessing then since you were able to pay the $4000 for her medical bills then you also have the money to pay the $850 that you owe on the other medical bills there. So I take it for granted that you can pay that, get your passport back and fly here to Orlando. So let me know when your flight is and I'll make sure to be there at the airport to welcome you home!
