I looked at Amazon and for $262,000 of revenue they made $1,000 profit only 0.4% profit hardly seems worth getting out of bed in the morning.

Whereas Apple from $1,500,000 revenue had a profit of $325,000 21.7%

Though it all depends on what they are declaring it could be gross profit, gross margin or OIFRA.

It's certainly and interesting site. It's impressive they can gather all that info in real time. I like the Netflix hours watched. 10,000 hours watched in 30 seconds doesn't surprise me at all. They say 1/3 of all internet data being used is Netflix.

Movie streaming is massively data-intensive. That's why there's so much money to be made in developing better compression systems.

Has anyone here been following the net neutrality hearings here in the States? I have a bad feeling about how this thing is going to end.
