I sent a PM to a mod. I am more than a little excited about this. The lad seemed determined not to give me an account number. I just hope it isn't his idea of a joke.

I want it to be confirmed before I add a piggy to my signature. I don't want to add a piggy just yet and have it turn out that this lad was playing me and I have to take the piggy off. Believe me I want one, but I don't think I could stomach having to take it down if it wasn't real. I sent a PM to a mod and all there is to to do is wait and see what happens.

^^^The account details look real and as I said in my PM, you won't hear back unless more information is needed, so you can add the piggy now.

Lads don't lie about accounts that they expect you to pay money into (they may sometimes get the details wrong or not have enough details if the account is coming to them from someone else).

Now that the account has been reported make some excuses why you couldn't get to the bank for about 3 days. Then tell the Knucklehead that Manager tried several times to get the payment to go through but it wouldn't. Then ask if there is a different account you can send the money to.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

He's got them. It's just a question of how stingy he is with them.

If he tells you the account is fine. Tell him you will try the account again. Next day tell him the account is still no good. Keep going back and forth to the bank until he coughs up #2 or drops you.

Just for reference wire xfers take about 3-5 days. Not joking at all there. So you have some lag time to tinker with the lad and plan out an excuse for next week since it will probably take 5 days and that's business days. Laughing

I think I can get another one. He told me he would cover 80% of the fee. Very nice of him, right? Then I told him no need, I have 100% of the fee, so long as I can transfer it to a back account. His greed should be going into overdrive right about now.

Very likely he will give up another one - or more. Leave this one a couple of days then let him know that the transfer was returned, no reason given by the bank except "unable to complete transaction". Check the account details, yes, right first time. Does he have a different account? Rinse and repeat Very Happy
