As many of you know I recently had an outburst and the corresponding backlash left me reeling and it tarnished what little reputation I had to begin with. I made the most sincerest of apologies to all those I offended, but it seems those individuals might still be harboring some hostility towards me. I want to become a valuable member here someday and I can't do that if I can't make friends. I will once again apologize to all the members I offended. I sent PM's to those I felt I offended the most, if I forgot anyone, let me know and I will send a personalized apology. Some folks have told me they have done the same thing I did and it looks like they bounced back from it very well. I would like to know how I can do that. If it's mainly a waiting game then I will have to learn patients. But if there is anything I can do to speed up the process I am willing to do whatever it takes. I want to be friends and learn from all of you. I would appreciate any help and guidance you can give me. Especially you Duckling, your words cut me in the best possible way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To be blunt, no one really gives a shit about anyones personal crap in here. You either bait, chase lads, work with Eater and Scamwarners to slow lads down, or go blather on in some other forum that deals with whatever you have in your head.

This isn't to say that after a while we all get to know each other, and find out that some people in here have more crap in their own life that is beyond comprehension

This isn't a social forum, nor a self help support group. Eater exists, as does Scamwarners, to publicise scammers.

Yes, after a while, and once you get to know people in here, you may find out your own personal crap pales in comparison to what others in here live with.

I sincerely hope you can get past your own angst and become a steady and supportive member in here.

I don't know what, if anything, I can do at this point. I just want to get back to the way it was before I messed everything up. It's kinda like that movie Attonment, only hopefully this will have a happier ending.

All anyone here really cares about is the fact you are inflicting lad pain (or the amount of cakes and ice cream you are supplying if you are ♥Corona♥).

No one cares (or probably even knows) about your age, race, sexuality, species or as irish said, your personal baggage.

So, you made a mistake - in a week no one will remember or care about it.

I want to make Ice Cream for everyone. I made some last night. Can I have a show of emoticons. Who wants some? I have strawberry, cookie dough and rocky road. Give me a few hours and I can have chocolate as well. What's that? I have bananas too, what!?!? Banana splits anyone?

My two cents: just relax, sit back, find some new lads in surplus to torment, and enjoy reading through the many great baits and tutorial threads on this forum. You shouldn't feel like you have to prove anything. Just try to have fun. Experiment with different types of lads, different baiting angles... find out what you enjoy, which tactics work for you and which don't.

Scamzilla, we have all been new and we have all made cockups. I know I have, and I'm here on my 4th year now.

Learn from your mistakes, and you'll be just fine. Even JC is tolerated here, so I don't see why you wouldn't be. Very Happy

I know the guy, he's in an unfortunate position, given his nationality, his lack of personal hygiene, his dyslexia, the snub nose, the floppy ears

Just accept him as he is please

We're trying as best we can to adapt him to normal life, but given his upbringing in the forest as an adopted wolverine, it isn't as easy as we'd hoped

We have managed to stop him savaging the throats of new people into his enclosure so far, we are hopeful of being able to take him out on a leash shortly

Sorry Bud but it will take more than an ice cream for me to forgive you,now if you were to put a flake in it and a sprinkle of 100's and 1000's then that'd be different. Thumbs up

Patience... Even someone that hasn't pissed people off doesn't usually wander in and make friends immediately. It takes time to learn people. You'll find there are a lot of 'inside jokes' here. You will learn them as time goes by and you read more threads. If any are posted in a thread of yours they aren't meant as a dig towards you, as I think I saw you get confused by before. Unless someone outwardly tells you you're being a douche, you're good.

Any offended parties may or may not have forgiven you. That is their right and the risk you take when you react without thinking first. Saying you are sorry isn't a 'get out of jail free card.'

My advice to you, relax. Put all of your energy into learning to bait. Don't worry so much about making friends right away as that will come. All people care about is that you bait and if you're doing it the right way or not. If we see you're not and we tell you, don't get offended, we do that to everyone.

I did not realize Cadbury made a product called flake. But I can sure put some on your bowl of ice cream. Along with 100's and 1000's. I was confused because I had never heard sprinkles referred to like that. Around these parts we just call them sprinkles. I can put those on as well. Anything else? Want me to detail your car? Build you some furniture, I can even add a carving in the shape of the lad of your choice. I can put it on the seat so you can sit on his head. Laughing
