I haven't been having too much luck at FMF. I've been getting a lot of perverts who just want to webcam or lads that start off as love lads and switch over to a NOK format very quickly. My male character has some good Vlads from MyBelovedNet, but can anyone suggest a site where I can pick up some better quality lads for my female character?

You can find white males with well known stolen photo. (but not Chinese people, they are normal people and pervs, I think.... not sure, I have not tried ... I don't like dating sites. Usually hunting on skype and facebook.
Seems to be like African Mafia in Guangzhou who can read and write Chinese posts the info of fake white men behalf of these in Nigeria and Ghana.

Are you interested to facebook bait?
- If you search the names "Miller" and pick up guys in military uniform, most likely they are scammers.
- If you search the US and UK military general's names, you can find plenty of fake generals facebook, who has 1 to 20 ladies only friends.

Just tell these fake guys, saying "I just clicked as Facebook suggested" then they will believe. Use photo from B class movie actor/actress with average looking. Lads suspects people without photo in profile, and ask for more pics.

Problem with Facebook bait is, there are several Facebook Anti-scam groups, who are taking efforts to eliminate scammer accounts. If a scammer caught by them, then the account will be mass-reported and Facebook will suspend / shut down the scammer account. Then lad will be gone. (If lad do not suspect you as a joker, sometimes they come back to you with email.)

I'm interested in Facebook baits but I always figured not having an established profile with friends and comments and pictures that weren't all uploaded recently would make the fact I'm a joker obvious.

Are you interested in vlads at all? My favorite hunting ground is MyBelovedNet.com. There's the occasional Dakar Darling or lad there too. Another is 7Fri.com . I put up a male profile and wait to be contacted.

I'm definitely interested in Vlads but I have a full supply of them right now from MyBelovedNet. It's my female character that is running a bit dry

The lads at FMF want to cam because a lot of them have caught on to the fact that the we jokers are on there. You can usually get around it by simply refusing. There are lots of reasons you can give. Some will keep pushing and refuse to talk to you if you don't webcam. Some will say ok and just move forward with the scam.

My other character had better luck at FMF but she was too boring to play in romance baits. I've found she works better with other types. Maybe I need to revamp her a bit and make her more interesting to write for.

Without an interesting character it's easy to lose the passion for the bait.

^^^ I have to disagree with that. Your character becomes as interesting as you want it to be. As you begin to develop the bait, weave your story and gain the lads trust, you can throw any angle you want at them.

Sometimes it's not the character but the shenanigans your character is up to that can keep it from getting boring. Actually, having a fairly straight character at first can help sell it usually. I like to have an accident or get arrested.

Btw, congrats on the siggy icons. That's an impressive array of accomplishments for a month of work! Well done!

That might just be my own problem: if I can't get into playing a character, it's hard for me to get into the bait. The character I love playing for the love lads is one that they don't seem to go for much. Maybe I'll give the other one more try, she's just a bit dull to write for in long term romance baits so I use her mostly for shorter baits with the aim of getting credit card numbers, bank accounts, or something specific.
