Even with the "pit" dug out so storm door will open, it won't open all the way, just too much ice.

Parking on street is so much more fun in winter than summer. Some neighbors are ignoring the alternate side street parking rules so there are cars on both sides of street, some directly across from each other making the remaining street too narrow for my truck. Add to that the wheelie bins actually left IN the street makes for a serpentine drive.

I *may* have backed into neighbors wheelie bin trying to park last night. I stood it back up, no noticable damage.

Can't remember the last time I saw the postal carrier. Everyone has mailboxes on their houses so postal carrier has to walk and we all think he only delivers our street once a week instead of every day.

Hehehe...mailboxes. My folks are on a very rural road, so the mailboxes are at the end of the driveway. Word is that a 100-yard section of road has been cleared of them by the plow, just like harvesting corn.

We got 18 inches of snow here. I don't mind it, but wish it was warmer so we could enjoy it. After the storm, the temperatures dropped off to below zero (F).

I got plowed in and couldn't get out for 2 days on a 5" very damp, icy crusty snow. And then, like Al, it got 50 here today so it's melting. I think this snow caused more issues than the larger ones we had because it was so damp and came down so fast
