I've been going after a few vlads lately. Most tend to twig rather quickly (because of my gmail address I assume as I'm not far enough into their script to give any clues something is amiss). I have a few that are playing along though and I'm currently running them through their script and waiting for the real fun to begin.
I was wondering, though: what's the best approach for these guys? They seem to have a different MO than the romance lads.
Also, has anyone had any experience with baiting male vlads?
Most of the threads I've seen on here have dealt with female vlads but I managed to find a male one I wanted to give a go in addition to the girls. |

Vlads require patience as some take what seems like forever before asking for Money. I plat it a bit Goofy with some Lovey Dovey thrown in for entertainment.
After the first few messages they may start reading your responses but I've never really gotten one off of their basic script. They do give up Bank accounts but never without a long series of arguments; getting two is the best I've ever done.
Capone is our Resident expert so expect a much better explanation in a while. |

Never baited a vlad playing a male, but the females rarely read what you send. I've got some recycled romance scripts that I send them and just add a bit at the top or bottom to answer any specific questions they've asked. |

While they do exist, very few male vlads are actually vlads. I've seen more African scammers who are claiming to be from FSU just as an excuse for their accent and poor English.
Typically gmail isn't going to make a vlad twig. More likely, they just have victims they see as more promising and saw something in you that suggested you don't have as much potential. |
