I recently stumbled upon this website:

The prices are low which is odd and when I decided to look on shipping costs it doesnt state the amount. When I reached to the part of total cost before accepting payment; its still didn't include shipping. Also they have no contact information except only an email address

Can anyone help me determine if this website is legit or fraud? Question

This is not the sort of scam we deal with.

About all I can say is that the site was just registered a few days ago, for only 1 year. That isn't proof that it's a scam, but it doesn't pass the smell test so I'd suggest avoiding it.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Their contact email is a free web-based hotmail account.

Their "copyright" notice on the site is 2004 - 2014 though the site was only registered a few days ago.

It is a newly registered site.

It is only registered for one year.

The contact emails use "electronics8881" while the domain is "electronics8889"

None of these are proof of a scam alone. They aren't proof together - but they are a huge set of bright red warning flags. I'd stay away.

P.S. If you google their contact email address, you get page after page of warnings from folks who were allegedly scammed by them.

A few weeks ago someone on Scamwarners asked about a site called electronichotdeal.com. At first we checked the whois record against the website and the address against Google Maps, but didn't know for certain that it's a scam. A few more people posted, and it turned out to be a triangulation scam: scammers charge cheap prices for stuff, then order it from a major store at full price using stolen credit cards and ship it to the person who ordered it.
