Any way of not having them on? It clutters the heck out of my sightlines...

Some of those sig line entries have been hard won, the rest, well, ok, hard won or a lot of time and Unpaid volunteering and writing to get them.

I doubt you will get a better response Very Happy

In my view, they are best if kept as compact as practicable. I can think of an almost empty one that has just a few flags and pigs in it, but is about 6" long. It must have innumerable paragraph spaces in the HTML.

Welcome Mr. Burns! I have found the best baits by looking in sig lines. When I see a particularly hilarious lad rant , I search the quote for the bait, and waaa laaaa! Thread of pure lad pain and hours of entertainment for me. See my sig, none of them are my baits, they are but a few of the best of Eater talent baits there for your enjoyment.

In time you too Mr. Burns will have some great rants in your sig. With a name like Mr. Burns, how could you not! Razz

What is a sightline?

EDIT: I looked up "sightline": any of the lines of sight between the spectators and the stage or playing area in a theater, stadium, etc.: Some of the sightlines are blocked by columns.

Learned the meaning of a new word today. Education is key here at Eater U. It's just the definition for those who also don't know what it is. I have no idea what type of your device you use to browse Eater, so it's not for me to question or comment. I just hope it doesn't hinder you from enjoying and joining in the fun of making lads lives a living hell. Razz

I know what you mean. You'll get use to it though and soon won't even notice unless you want to. Some forums allow pictures in sig lines. I'm glad it's not like that here. A few members here have images in their sig lines however they are only visible when sent via PM. The first time I noticed I wondered why someone added an image telling me to prepare for the zombie apocalypse and what it had to do with what the PM was about. Then, oh it's just in his sig line. Welcome MrBurns. I sport the 'bling' in my siggy for two reasons. Firstly, if a new person comes aboard, they'll hopefully PM me with any questions and will feel more at home. Secondly, well, every single site killed and/or flag represented is a heck of a lot of lad pain, and we all cheer!
