An angle I used frequently in the past was the older sister/brother or mom/dad intercepting emails from the lad and replying with an expression of concern. It was up to the lad to prove that he/she was worthy of continuing the relationship. It always helped me introduce a new spin on a bait. Plus it always added weeks (sometimes months) to a bait. So if anyone wants to help me get my feet wet again, I'm more than willing to be the concerned relative.
