Take him to task for telling a young child about grown up talk. Why does Sammy even know what's going on between two adults? Why does he even know about you without his father ever meeting you? Telling a kid you have a new mommy when you have never met the person in person?

This is usually when I lose mine, but perhaps you can do this better.

MOST (sane/responsible) single parents never tell their children about a new relationship until they are sure that the relationship is going to work and possibly have long term/marriage in mind. You don't allow your child have revolving door of possible new mothers/fathers. You don't allow them to meet or know about a new "friend", you usually tell your child that "Mommy is going to go out with some friends tonight, I will see you when you get up in the morning".

I didn't date for 9 years after my child was born and when I did begin dating he never knew about them other than they are a friend and the only one of my new friends my son met is my now fiancé. I am only saying this as this is what I believe responsible single parents should do regarding a potential mate. It's one thing if my heart, or my potential mates heart becomes broken, but it's an entirely different for my child to love and become attached to my boyfriend and then things not work out. I have seen this happen with a few of my friends and the children are very devastated.

I usually do some kind of rant with the above information when they tell me their kid is sad because the money hasn't come and they try and blame ME for what THEY have told their kid. Sometimes I tell them when the lad first tells me they have a child to NOT tell the child about me until after they are in the U.S. and we meet and we know for sure it's going to work blah blah blah. That gets them to where they can't do the child guilt like this lad is trying to do to you. It puts THEM as the bad parent because the child should not even know you exist therefore their child's pain is not YOUR doing but THEIRS.

This lad is a real Pri*k and needs to be scolded, BIG TIME with one of your awesome "tearing a new one" emails. Blame HIM for his kid being sad, because a RESPONSIBLE father would NEVER EVER put their child in a position of having their heart broken. EVER!!

Sorry, didn't mean to write a novel, just would love to see what would happen if you laid into him this way. I might learn something of how I might improve and/or leave out this type of rant in my baits. You don't have to do it, of course, it's your bait. Very Happy
