Yes...TEN YEARS of Baiting! A Skinner was one of the earliest Users on 419Eater, signing up on 16 November 2003. He is still here, quietly sending Lads into apoplexy via his iconic character ‘Ed Shanks’.

Some of us first read of ASkinner when reading our site Founder’s book, ‘Greetings in Jesus’ Name’. With Shiver Metimbers, Skinner joint-Baited a Ghanaian Lad called Matins Davis and 2 early London-Glasgow Safaris were the result!

ASkinner was once asked what kept him here, day after day... and he said that it is the e.mails that he opens every morning from angry and infuriated Lads, which make him laugh out loud.

ASkinner has the record at MTCN 3ecure/MTCN V@ult/Security Sh1eld (can’t recall which one, as they are currently offline) for the Lad to click on the most boxes. In fact, the Top 3 Lads there are all his. One of them had spent about 8 or 10 hours in the Cyber Cafe, numbly clicking on keys and trying to reveal his non-existent MTCN, all courtesy of Shanks.

In addition to that, he managed to get what many of us consider to be just about the most amazing Trophy Pic:

ASkinner was achieving Safaris before many of us had even heard of ScamBaiting. For your pleasure, here is the audio of his Barrister Bless Kone Safari; in all 37 minutes of enjoyment. The Format was a $7 000 000 windfall to be split between Kone and Shanks, the wealthy American Maga. Shanks arranged to fly into Accra in his private aircraft and pass Kone the $18 000 USD fee. Unfortunately, the plane had engine problems over Cape Coast and..... well..... you can enjoy the plot as it unfolds. It is classic ASkinner: understated, calm, and great fun, particularly during the final call where one of the Lads has the audacity to pretend to be a woman (before the advent of voice changing apps for mobile phones!).

For more laughs, here is a brief extract from ASkinner (playing Oscar Scheister from AllSt@r Shipping) listening to Alex Kelvin pouring his black heart out during the 2011 ‘Hell Safari’. A distraught Kelvin tells Oscar what is happening to his fortune in Parakou and well...the slapstick clearly gets to Skinner!

The Bonnie Scotland bait got me into Scambaiting.

You were and still are an inspiration to many if not everybody on Eater and I suspect the wider baiting community as a whole.
