I love the excuses they come up with to try and get a "transfer slip" especially when they say it like they have ever been a bank that wasn't western union or money gram. (and they're not banks) They have no concept of how a bank actually works.

I really don't think you understand what an asshole this doctor has been! You're a lawyer right? I want your legal advice then. If he lets Helena die because of a little money then I can sue him right? She's in Birmingham right? Which hospital? I really need to know this please!

As for the money I was supposed to get him, I called the bank and the transfer had bounced back for some reason. They wanted to know if I wanted to attempt again and I told them no. I want to send it straight to you. Let me know the account details and I'll get back with the bank this afternoon.

I repeat my earlier question. Which hospital is she in? Did you call the administrators and tell them to have Dr Barry stay away from her? Surely you can make a phone call to give them a heads up. I'm this close to emailing that bastard myself to give him some pieces of my mind! If I wasn't on this ship I'd go there myself and try to find him. I'm so happy to hear that her condition has been improving. I hate that she still has to be on the life giving machine. Do you know if she has any brain wavertures? Or is she in a complete vegetartive state? I'd hate to think of her living her life with no brain activity. How will she survive in the world that way? Is this like being in a comma? I'm sorry, I know you aren't her doctor. I just figured since you've been in contact with the nurses that you would know these things. And if not at least you can ask them next time you speak with them. That Barry character wouldn't tell me anything concrete. I'd be really grateful if you could find out this info for me. I've been in the dark this whole time and I don't really like it.

Yes, I have contact the hospital as you requested to keep Dr. Barry out of Helena`s side and the Admistration has done that after a long process protocools. In such hospital things are not done that way, they have to go through a lot of processing and protocools before they will honour such request and you should know that Dr.Barry signed a surety on behalf of Mrs Helena. And now that we keep him out the Hospital now mandate me to come up with the money on or before Wednesday 20th of Novermber.

The hospital where Mrs Helena is now is Queen Elizabeth Hospital under supervision of Birmingham Chest Clinic.

Andy, lets take one thing at a time. First, get settle with the transfer, confirm from your banker if the transfer is finally done or not. I will need this money to move immediately to meet with the hospital admistration and been that they give us less than 48hrs to come up with the money.

Secondly, I will take care of the Letter of Authorization.

Lastly, I listed below again the account details where the money should go to:

Sir I'm sorry I haven't been available. We're in the middle of a large inspection onboard and it's been making me work 16 hour days. The inspectors will be leaving Sunday. Has the money made it there yet?

I already sent the flowers a couple days ago. I just didn't use a room number. I called the hospital myself. They said they couldn't give me her room number but I don't need it anyway. They said address it to her and the flower and delivery department and they will deliver it to her. Why don't you already know her room number? Surely you've had to ask for it to talk to the nurses.

No I haven't decided to let all go. I've been hospitalized. I've never discussed it with you nor did I have a chance to ever discuss it with Helena. I was born a woman and for the past several years I've been living my life as a man. Changing one's sex is not as easy as some think. I was finally able to have my penile implant and breast removal surgeries so my transformation is complete. Please, I have my own personal problems that I must attend to. My thoughts haven't been far from Helena. How is she doing? Still alive?

Isn't it difficult to not get on them about how America doesn't require up front payment for medical care? Well, there are cases of no treatment for elective stuff- but if a person is deathly ill they're not going to be kicked to the curb. The medical bills WILL kick them to the curb, but not because they don't pay up front.

I know it would be educating so I understand why we don't correct; the good news it that this would never work on a real victim Razz
