Next Monday I'm booked in for dental surgery including a root canal and exploratory work on a dentigerous cyst.

Be especially cruel to Lads that day, please.

*winces* I'm endeavouring to turn my tattooed and safaried lad ebay over to Dr Mike and if anyone knows how to inflict more pain it's a doctor.

Just went one better last Tuesday and had a molar removed and a load of infection underneath drained and then stitched up.

Can't say it hurt though. I had it done in hospital and they gave me some amazing drugs.

Here's hoping you pull through. I've had two root canals and they weren't as bad as I anticipated. In fact, a root canal is really no more uncomfortable than a spinal tap.

My one Root Canal was actually less painful than getting my teeth cleaned by the Hygienist or Rusty Scraper as I have come to know her. Anyhow it is time consuming but other than that it seems less invasive than a regular filling.

I did not need to make use of the Pain pills as there was no pain other than a stiff jaw. So I was able to use them for Hand outs on Halloween no that's not it in reality they were used for recreational purposes because waste not want not!

The last sentence was a bit of Malarkey but the rest including Ms. Scraper is the truth! The biggest problem encountered during Root Canals is the pain when paying for said service.

I have to pay a visit the dentist on Tuesday as well, had a upper back double break off, last week, just have a spike left, not getting any pain, so will do my usual take a pain killer before I go, that kicks in when the injection wears off, comes from 63 years experience of going to the dentist.

Ooh, good luck Yastreb and Fo.

Have had one root canal due to an abscess that manifested itself while on a sort break in Wales, but didn't feel a thing - mainly because when the emergency dentist told me he couldn't guarantee the root canal would be pain free, I blanched and demanded an extraction instead. One nerve block later, the dentist decided to have a look anyway, to see if it could be saved. It could, and I was sent back to England with a temporary cap and instructions to see my regular dentist asap. 6 weeks later I got around to it.. Embarassed

Well, I'm back, with my lower jaw and lip still numb, my face swollen and feeling bruised.

Any news of special Lad pain today?

The muscles in your jaws may ache for a day or two.

Will give my lad some pain tomorrow, sending me threats, he knows were I live and is coming to get me, says I'm robbing his bank, me who is totally honest and does not tell lie's, said through gritted teeth, so they don't break. Wink

Seen the dentist going try to fill it, also going to have a crown, which I have been putting off.

Going again 2nd December when I have some money, available.

In UK had to re-register again with the dentist, another form to fill in, thanks NHS.

See if my lad will bit back on my insult, most likely will have to ask others.
