Hey everyone!

I'm reasonably new here - found the forum a few days ago. I've never been truly scammed, but I am a fairly old internet hand, and I have seen filthy slime prey on lonely women time and time again. In fact, a couple of them tried to do so to me, but I had never really thought to bait them, and generally just slapped them viciously so they left me alone. But, I imagine it'd be that much more satisfying to domesticate them and reduce the scum to tears later on.

So, I joined the forum and have signed up for a mentor. I got oscarpiles, who is awesome and is currently helping me construct my brand new pig sty from nice Scandinavian pine planks. However, he admits to not knowing enough about where I can get a nice hot (insert random African country) lover to <strike>shovel the pig shit</strike> make my life complete, and has directed me to seek wisdom on this matter among the denizens of this forum.

So, in short, where do I buy me a hot, athletic, and manly <strike>pig-shit-shoveller</strike> lover, and how do I go about care and feeding of such? All advice (and any spare slime-puppies you wish to share for housetraining) will be very appreciated!

Just make sure you have enough board feet for a comfortable sty! NV listed all the great hunting grounds, but FishMeetFish is prime territory for lads and Dakar Darlings. Big Al, who occasionally posts, has a harem of refugees. If you can stand the boredom and laziness, they are prolific piggy producers. Since I like vlads, MyBeloved is a favorite, although you do have to screen by country.

Hi and thank you both for the welcome to the lovely and sunny sludge pit.

I sincerely hope that I can inflict some pain and suffering. I don't tend to like vlads because they used to hit on me back in the day when icq was still a thing and I had "Russian" listed as one of the languages I can communicate in. (I can, but hell if I didn't remove it off there a month or two after listing it! Urgh!)

I think a degree of detachment would be good, besides, I am too uncomfortably physically close to vlads (Scandinavia), so I prefer baiting at a farther distance - Africa sounds comfy. And besides, the misogynistic, my-shlong-is-big-and-thick 'Adonises' can probably use someone to cause them a shrinky pipi (... yes, I am reading the Hector thread. That phrase had me howling so loudly that I suspect my neighbors now worry I am psychotic despite having good soundproofing).

So, with the desire for sexy man-flesh in mind, should I try Badoo? I'll need to find some 'pictures' of 'myself' as well. *scratch head* Where do I find 30-40 year old good-looking female photos that are safe in terms of ITP?

Edited to add: I heard that my mentor is the poster child for bad behavior... if only I could hear more stories of how and what for!

Dorothy uses photos from the before and after aging ads and things like that. The hard part of that being finding more than one which they often will ask for. You can try a G search to see if anything close shows up. That is how I found extras for both of my men.

I use photos from my past baits but they are good looking women so I have to be real careful not to get ITPs. I usually only use them when I need to pick one up on a secondary character.

It is best to keep your character on the mid age range, not so pretty in any way other than financially or in desperation. They don't really care if they are scamming granny out of her disability pay or some fairly well off widow.

I've found a tip to use a B-rate celebrity, so I dug out a few photos of a not too-gorgeous mid-age celebrity from around here. She has that regular-older-Scandinavian-woman look to her, so I think I'll go with that, since she also has a lot of 'regular' photos available (i.e. non-celeb-photoshoot but just unposed pictures of her without photoshop).

I have also read the stickies and will sign up with a sanitized account that isn't linked to either this site or my real addresses etc.

My bf and I are giggling about setting up the profile (he is quite ok with me putting a profile up on a dating site to attract scum), so I wanted a picture or two there.

Badoo seems to be currently down, or at least my browser refuses to go to it other than the cached page. I will look into FishMeetFish. Other good advice for lad-infested free dating sites? If I try to search for them here, I get local ones, which I really really don't want to go near.

As for pictures, I used the weatherman from my local news station. I have pictures of him in natural settings. He's just your average Joe.

Mai, I use local news casters or small time politicians. There are lots in the US you can use.

I understand your hesitation with the vlads. I have a few reasons that make vlad hunting more fun but to each their own!

I've signed up at FishMeetFish. It's icky to Nth degree and full of slime. Used a pic of a maybe 45-50 year old celeb that looks 'normal' and maybe 35-40 in her photos, some wrinkles, etc. Her advantage is that she's easily available as 'casual' photos and there's little chance they find her unless they do an image search (do they know how? And do they care?)

I am mildly worried that it looks too glamorous even after I futzed the light up in it and shrank then stretched it - not because it does but because everyone on that dating site looks like either porn models or shit, or both. We'll see what older lady catches! I can't wait to receive slime in my inbox. I also liked how there is an option to 'hide' your profile instead of deleting it - the better to help scammers so they don't have to redo it for next victim?

As far as I can tell, lads don't even really look at the pics. It's just a screening tool-as in no replies to profiles without pics.

Capone is right, they don't look at the pictures. They don't read the profiles either. I have a test in my profile that they must answer so I know they read it. Then, if I am in a pissy mood and they say the really enjoyed reading my profile I call them liars and take out whatever is frustrating me at the time on them. It's fun, my fiancé appreciates me using the lads as punching bags instead of him. Has done wonders for our relationship. Wink

Let us hope they don't! My character is a bit naive, lives in the sticks near the polar circle in Scandinavia, and looking for honest man, and maybe a sense of adventure. (Grammar mistakes included).

Perhaps she might like to travel the world some day. She could probably afford it.

And Capone, I will take a look. Once I emerge from Hectorland (if ever)!

I've checked the 'is it down' site and it says that Badoo is up and running, but my browser flat-out refuses to acknowledge its existence. I wonder what's up.

They don't look at pictures or care about age. I use pictures of Dame Edna Everage and have never had a lad worry about how weird she/he looks.

My current Badoo profile is a 50 year old woman with one photo of a not particularly attractive woman. I simply log in periodically and leave it logged in while working on other things in other tabs.

Badoo irritates me more than most sites because it gives users a "confirmed" status based on a facebook page and/or phone number. This "confirmation" gives many potential victims a very false sense of security and makes it easier for scammers to succeed.

In the past 3 weeks it has drawn around 75 African scammers, all amazingly attracted by my beauty and/or my wonderful, deep character (who has almost no description.) It has also drawn 2 pervs, one African who basically acknowledged he was looking for a sugar mummy (if he's being honest about who he is and what he wants, he's no different than a beggar) and about 5 people that ***might*** be real. I just clicked "not interested" on all of those just in case, though on all but one of them I suspect they could have turned out to be scammers - just no time to do the research.

I strongly advise against using anybody even marginally attractive. Unattractive photos are better. The scammers don't care if your character is physically attractive or not. But, the more attractive your character, the more real people it will draw, and the more work for you to sort out the scammers (plus you don't want to play with real people.) Plus, Badoo is a bit of a hook-up site, so the more attractive your character, the more real pervs you will get, looking for a hook-up.

As I typed this, the badoo alert just sounded, yet another scammer trying to charm my character with his lovely (copied) words...

You can try (just to see if it works) going to badoo through a proxy, just to see if your IP range is blocked.

That makes more sense, I'll look for some less attractive photos if I get too many 'real' looking people.

In meantime, I can get to Badoo via a proxy but it won't sign me up (sign-up form just resets any time I try to submit 'my' info). I would be surprised to find out they are blocked (I'm not in internet-censoring country here), so I have no idea what is going on.

Any ideas how to fix this? Not that it's imperative, I might find me a scammer on FMF in meantime, but I get annoyed when the computer/internet doesn't do what I want it to, and tend to try to get it fixed.

Hi there! I'm fairly new here and OP is my mentor as well. He hasn't gotten me into any trouble... Yet. I'm a little worried about his lady love and her swans though so I don't bother him too much. Razz

I signed up at FMF to start with. I think it's a good place to practice and it's crawling with Africans. Just browse whoever's online when you're on there. If you click on their profiles they will know and send you a message. I've gotten a lot that way. I've also sent a few that were obvious Africans a quick 'hi' and went from there. You will have no lack of lovers!

As for the pic... I have used not very well known celebrities. One that is a meth addict and looks it. The other I found a pic where he has a strangely misshapen head. As others have said, it doesn't matter. Browse for a few mins and you'll be able to pick out the other baiters based on their pics and profiles. My favorite was when Ginger used a pic of a blow up doll.

When you're done reading the Hecturd bait you might want to read the Shorty ones. They cross paths at one point and are bitter enemies. Plus, Shorty's still being baited so you'll still get the occasional fix!

GTmama, thanks for the tip. I think I had been too discreet in my (Ick!) poking around FMF. I've changed my settings so the POSs on there see I've looked at their profiles. BF is laughing because I comment their profiles out loud as I read them. Smile

I am trying to get him into my new hobby as well, but so far he enjoys it vicariously.

I particularly love the ones that say they are honest and aren't scammers! ... Are there any real people on that site at all? I mean, seriously?! I've never dated online or tried, and it's sort of horrifying to see all the ugly/blingy/clearly stolen/porn photos on there. *shudder* I need to find me a penpal so I can go and write him from the cleanliness of my own (or well, Si's) email account!

Blow up doll? The fuck?! ... ... O.o These people do not cease to amaze me!

I'll definitely read the Shorty thread, since I've run across the mention of the crossover now - it sounds like it totally plunged both of them into the 'reality' of their imaginary friends. Or, well, imaginary friends that are friends, but aren't theirs. Or something. Smile

I shall wade back into FMF and see if I can net me some bottom-feeder - I like sole, and halibut would work fine as well. I have a frying pan and lemon with their name on it riiiight here!

I had a bite or two after following everyone's excellent advice! Thank you! I also had better things to do this weekend (eating paracetamol, reading Hecturd saga) than to write to sleazeballs, but I shall check the mailboxes and reply. I'll post here as soon as anything remotely interesting develops!
