I am just about to pick up the phone and cancel the transfer. This whole thing sounds real shady. I do business here all the time through transfers and not one person has ever made such an ignorant request.

All though the lads ask for this all the time, this particular one obvious thinks it works the same way as money transfers, ie you need the slip to collect. Amazing that this detail STILL is floating out there.

I think that along with them needing that to prove it is their pull, I think there is also that level of fear for them in checking their bank too much and that so called proof might be what they want to see before they check it.

I don't think an actual slip is needed for a transfer, they just like to see it to satisfy themselves.I think all that is really needed for that is the ID or the Q & A. Probably why they always ask for all the info used if they don't have the right ID.
