Hi all.....I am alive and kicking!!! As some of you who remember me may have figured, I will be flying into London to see my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers play against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept 30th at Wembley Stadium. I will be arriving on the 26th and leaving on the 4th (short trip). Perhaps we can hook up for curry?????

great to see you back on the forums even if it's just a hit & run.
I went to one of those Wembley NFL matches last year and it's really strange how many european fans there are who come out of the woodwork.... and even more so which teams they choose to support (I was sitting by a bunch of Dutch fans wearing throwback Baltimore Colts shirts). Hardly any steelers fans among them which makes sense, I think the last living steelers fan in Europe is in a museum.

Thanks for asking! I actually lived through her college years and now she's a 5th grade teacher in the Chicago burbs. I will be in London on Thursday morning and will be leaving the following Wednesday. There is a bash for Steelers fans at Henrys in Piccadilly at 6:30 Pm on Saturday. I will absolutely be there and would love to see some of my London buddies there if you can get away.

Welcome back. 0-3 vs. 0-3, who wudda thunk. The Steelers are currently -1 with an o/u of 42.5. The Vi-queens are out for revenge after a disgraceful loss to the Browns. I had to make a pick on this game for a pool I'm in, and much to my chagrin, I gave the point and took Pittsburgh. (Sorry Bo, it's just business)

If Minnesota does in fact lose, please lock Christian Ponder in the Tower of London before you leave.

I used to work at the Tower so can elaborate that Traitor's Gate is an entrance to the Tower from the river. After disembarking the prisoner (depending on their status) would be transferred to a cell in one of the many smaller towers on the inner wall.

Then it's a short ride in the back of a cart (whilst being booed and pelted) to Tyburn Hill where the public gallows are for a good hanging.

Somewhat harsh for a snap fumble maybe but I know you Americans are a fervent bunch when it comes to sports.

To my surprise the Vikings won, after really trying hard to lose in the 4th quarter. You guys across the pond got to see a fairly well played football game.
