Strange this one.

After I had gone out to the Doctors, a woman dressed in a nurses uniform, knocked at our door, the wife opened the door and this woman, no ID, but had a clip board with our address on it, asked for a woman named Christine who has lived her since the house was built, as we bought the house new and are the first owners, the wife told her this, but she kept on insisting that my wife's name was Christine and trying to get in, wife would not tell her, her real name.

She asked if we had a lodger, which we do not, she did not know the wife's doctors name, my wife would not tell her.
No appointment had been made for a nurse visit.

With the wife having ABI it took some time to collect this information, but did manage to contact the police and pass the information over, their advice is to tell the neighbors, dont know what good that would do, as at the time 12.10 there was no cars up our bit of road, means that all 6 of our neighbors were out, no kids at play.

At least the wife had some common sense to keep the woman out.

Now wife is going to wear her zapper for our alarm system, she did not know we can get the police using it, will also put the chain on the front door, I will use the back door and side gate.

That's terrible. My parents opened the door to a guy knocking on the front door with a clipboard, a pole cutter and the address. He said he was a contractor for the electric utility and needed access to the backyard. They did not let him in the house but went around and opened the side gate. His sidekick entered the house though the back door and ransacked the house. The guns were cabled down and the safe door was closed and locked. While hundreds of dollars were taken, no one was injured.
