I have been watching a series called 'Jungle gold' which is like watching two Americans with a quarter of a million of investors, get scammed till they are broke all over the place in Ghana.
How do they not see it? |

I know they should know better, but it still makes me sad. It said they lost everything in the housing crash. Now they lost 75k on a 419?

They were scammed out of a total of over $300.000.00 in all over the length of the show. |

I just watched the first two episodes, and I think its completely fake. If I didn't know any better, I would think it was on TruTv instead of the discovery channel. |

The episode where they go out to a remote place, in the middle of nowhere, with a bag of cash to make a gold deal, then, back along a deserted country road, with a big lump of gold....ooo a road block ( 3pieces of logs on the dirt track) I wonder what that is doing here in the middle of nowhere on an isolated country road, let's get out and deal with it. Let's not drive round it or through it......
Were they surprised they were robbed? I think everyone watching the program could see if coming.
Despite the failings of the Americans, it does give some insight to general living conditions and is educational in that respect. |
